According to reports, Russian forces struck a store in Pesochyne, Kharkiv Oblast.
Russia struck Kharkiv's main power plant hours after Donald Trump announced an energy ceasefire, according to reports. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strike on the CHP-5 heat-and-power facility.
Zelensky also stated that Russia carried out more than 200 attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure over the past week, resulting in over 150 deaths and 700 injuries.
Russia reportedly dropped three guided glide bombs into residential neighborhoods of Kharkiv, striking the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts. The attack killed two women, aged 66 and 80, and wounded at least 36 people, including three children. One residential house was completely destroyed, while around 20 other homes, office buildings, an educational facility, and vehicles sustained damage.
Emergency crews searched through the wreckage into the evening following the strikes.
“The command post was deployed at the Nezhegol recreation center (belongs to Belgorod State University), near the settlement.
The Command Post controlled the units that are taking part in the offensive operation in Volchansk, Kharkiv region.
At the moment, eight army officers are considered missing.
Also, it is worth noting that the Nezhegol recreation center appeared on the “target lists” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which intelligence warned the 6th Army about at least a week before the strike. However, no countermeasures were taken.”
