An Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle in Gaza City, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
Hamas's top financial official, Mohammed Abu Alwan, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to a joint statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz.
Abu Alwan headed the group's financial department. The IDF has not yet issued a statement on the strike.
Ahmad al-Bateesh, also known as Abu Osama and a commander in the Northern Brigade of Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, was reportedly killed by an Israeli Defense Forces UAV in Northern Gaza.
Soldiers deployed to Israel will be under U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), attached to a Joint Task Force consisting of military personnel from both Egypt and Qatar.
US officials say CENTCOM is going to establish a "civil-military coordination center" in Israel that will help facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid.
Salame Muhammad Abu Ajaj was killed by the IDF in an airstrike in Rafah.
The IDF says the general security forces is a Hamas body that supports the military wing of the terror group, and is tasked with several roles to "ensure the survival of the group, [continue] routine Hamas military activity, and disrupt the IDF's freedom of action in the Strip."
