US awards $23 million contract for anti-GPS jamming seekers for JDAM-ER

The USAF has awarded a $23.554M contract to Scientific Applications and Research Associates for the procurement of home-on-GPS jam seekers in support of a Foreign Military Sale to Ukraine. These seekers will be installed on Ukrainian JDAM-ER glide bombs.

These will be crucial for Ukraine as many types of precision munitions provided by the west for Ukraine are becoming much less effective as a result of Russian GPS jamming which severely decreases weapon accuracy.
