According to reports, the FSB has been active over a 48-hour period following a laboratory leak involving pneumonic plague at a Level 3 containment facility. A 28-year-old female laboratory technician died at Chelekhov Hospital after reportedly breaking a tube containing the pathogen. Approximately 200 close contacts of the victim were placed in quarantine, and the FSB reportedly dispatched its own ambulances to the scene.
