According to the Prime Minister's Office of Japan, North Korea has launched a suspected ballistic missile.

South Korea has denied that the drones belong to them. It is possible that these were rights groups drones, but having a drone fly such a distance is impressive for non-military actors.
The drone is said to have dropped leaflets.
