Fano rebels have captured the town of Anchekorer, located on the southern edge of Ethiopia's Amhara state, according to reports. Photographic evidence confirms the capture of the town, which is noted as one of the few fronts where Fano has consistently gained ground since the start of the conflict.

Mekelle reportedly fell after the TPLF allegedly abandoned the Tigrayan capital without a fight and withdrew back into the mountains. ENDF troops are entering the city.

Fighters from the Amhara FANO National Movement (AFNM) reportedly raided and captured Ethiopian Army (ENDF) positions in Gish Abay, located in Ethiopia's Amhara Region. According to reports, video footage shows the fighters taking over the positions and armed with weapons including a Yugoslav Zastava M72B1 light machine gun, KL-103 / AZ-7,62 rifles, and Hoshdar-M sniper rifles.

Footage posted by the pro-government Tigray Peace Force (TPF) reportedly shows its fighters marching into Alamata following the withdrawal of TPLF rebels.

Earlier, the ENDF advanced from Kobo and seized control of the city in southern Tigray.

Rebel forces, reportedly including the TPLF and ANURF, have captured the city of Erebti in Ethiopia's Afar region. Footage and photos show the forces entering the city and posing in front of the Erebti Health Center.
