Estonia accused Moscow of organising the arson of the Milrem Robotics building in Tallinn in mid-August 2026. According to the Estonian Foreign Minister, law enforcement information indicates the incident was an act of sabotage directed by Russian special services.

The Estonian Foreign Ministry summoned the temporary charge d'affaires for Russia, while the Kremlin rejected allegations of Russian involvement.

Finnair has announced they're suspending flights to the Estonian city of Tartu as a result of Russian GPS interferrence in the area of the Baltics.

The interferrence is originating from the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad and is affecting both air and maritime traffic in a large swathe of the Baltic Sea and surrounding area, including well into Poland.

GPSJAM data shows high levels of interferrence in Estonia and Latvia.
