Ukraine loses multiple villages as Russia begins renewed Kharkiv offensive

Ukraine has lost control of multiple villages near the border with Russia as they begin a renewed offensive in the region that Ukraine almost completely liberated in late 2022.

The lost villages include: Strilecha, Krasne, Pylne, and Borysivka.

It's worth noting that these losses are not unexpected and Ukraine has been monitoring for a possible Russian offensive from Belgorod Oblast into Kharkiv Oblast for some time. Defenses are not prepared directly at the border, but several kilometers behind it.
