SVBIED attack launched on Baidoa

Forces affiliated with former South West State President Abdiaziz Laftagareen launched an attack on the city of Baidoa using a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED). Civilian residential areas were reportedly affected by the incident.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the attack was successfully repelled.
