Saudi Arabia launches operation near Bab-el-Mandeb Strait

Saudi Arabia has reportedly launched an operation to drive the Houthis out of the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait area. The Houthis allegedly attacked airports in Riyadh and Abha, along with an Aramco oil refinery, and declared Saudi airspace unsafe for civil aviation.

Turkey and Pakistan are reportedly set to deploy troops to Saudi Arabia for collective defense. Meanwhile, Yemeni government forces claim they have regained control of the strategic port of Mocha on the Red Sea coast, though the Houthis deny these claims and report advancing near Taiz.
