Overnight, a large drone attack was reported in a number of areas of occupied Crimea including Dzankoy, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yevpatoria, Kirovskoye, Saky, and Feodosia. Russian targets in the regions of Leningrad Oblast and Krasnodar Krai were also hit. Targets in Russian territory include oil refineries Slavyansk-na-Kubani, as well as the naval base in Krasnodar Krai, and Vyborg in Leningrad Oblast.
Location of the fire at the refinery in Vyborg: 60.699157, 28.744060
Video of the fire in Vyborg:
Heavy explosions heard, which will include targets being hit and drones being intercepted by air defense.
A drone is recorded hitting the oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. The refinery has reportedly suspended operations. This is not the first time the refinery has been attacked. It was also attacked in March.
A video recorded by Russian solders at the naval base in Novorossiysk sees them successfully intercepting a drone and celebrating, seemingly unaware that they're also shooting at their own city with large caliber weapons.
It was reported by Russian Telegram channels that upwards of 60 Ukrainian drones were flying over occupied territory.
The Ukrainian military is also claiming to have destroyed the Russian Navy Project 266-M minesweeper "Kovrovets", but this has not yet been independently verified.
An update to this includes a possible correction that the ship destroyed was not the minesweeper Kovrovets, but instead the Project 22800 corvette Tskilon. Reportedly, 6 Russians were killed.
Reports that ATACMS is responsible.
This still has not been independently verified. There's a chance that unless someone leaks photos, we will need to wait for satellite imagery.
