Germany resumes production of PzH 2000 SPG

Germany has relaunched the production of the PzH 2000 self propelled howitzer, some of which it plans to supply to Ukraine and some to replace its own donated units.

The first contract has been signed, which calls for the production of 22 units of the system, with an optional 6 more.

Germany has financed the initial 18 new PzH 2000s for Ukraine, and additional contracts are expected to be placed in the future for a total of 100 units.
