On June 16, U.S. Central Command conducted an airstrike in Syria, killing Usamah Jamal Muhammad Ibrahim al-Janabi, a senior ISIS official and facilitator. His death will disrupt ISIS’s ability to resource and conduct terror attacks.

IDF's Home Front Command has placed new restrictions on the public as an Iranian attack in response to targeting a consulate/embassy in Syria that killed senior IRGC leaders is imminent.

Restrictions include the prohibition of educational activities and limitations on the size of public gatherings, among other items.

Israel's defense minister has stated that the US has provided Israel with "new capabilities."

In addition, US President Biden has cancelled a trip to Delaware and will meet with his national security advisors and military leaders in anticipation of the strike.
